Nido believes that exploration is a very integral part of early childhood journey. Our formula is to gently kindle their curiosity which further ignites their interest to learn about the world using their senses – tasting, touching, seeing, smelling and hearing
Heuristic, which means ‘to help discover’, stems from the same root as the popular exclamation, ‘Eureka (I’ve found it!)’
Naturally curious, children have an urge to know what things ‘do’, apart from what they feel like. They love to gather, fill, dump, stack, knock down, select and slot everything around them.
With this, we help children play with and explore the properties of ‘objects’ from the real world, allowing them to make their own choices and discoveries, without adult intervention in a safe environment.
While the heuristic play session is in process, adults need to remain seated and quiet in the background as observers to their child’s learning. This will give the little ones the opportunity to explore, observe, discover & experiment spontaneously.
We take the young child’s curiosity further, by showing them how learning can be done not just through sight or sound, but also through taste, touch and smell.
Sensory Art is about explorative art making, focusing not on the resultant artwork, but on the process of creative expression. By discovering and working with various sensory-rich materials, children practice movements that build fine motor skills and coordination. Every session leaves the child with a deep sense of satisfaction and a wide smile.

The creative rewards of music are multi-fold and long proven through innumerate studies. Our innocent souls rejoice in the rhythm of music and unravel the talent of listening to and expressing through their bodies.
The beauty of such sessions is that they build joyful and memorable experiences, leading to the socio-emotional development of a young child.
